PROMPT

Both the Arlington and Springfield offices of Children’s Speech and Language Services, are proud to offer PROMPT treatment for speech production disorders. We have 3 PROMPT Certified Instructors on staff, and are considered the leading experts of PROMPT in the
Mid-Atlantic region.

PROMPT is a system of treatment used with both children and adults who are having difficulty producing speech and/or making the connection between sounds and functional language. Tactile-kinesthetic (touch) input is applied to the client’s face and neck area, to help the client execute the movements from the jaw, lips or tongue to produce the sounds of speech.
